Mercy Welcomes New Member of The Ronnenberg Society

We are pleased to welcome Johanna Cushing to The Ronnenberg Society. Johanna is a proud alum from the class of 1966. As many know, the class of 1966 was only the second class of graduates at Mercy. Johanna was part of a tight-knit, all female class that was the foundation for Mercy’s mission of educating young women. Johanna has always had a special place in her heart for Mercy. She still counts many good friends from her experience at Mercy and feels that she got an excellent education. She made the decision to support Mercy by naming Mercy College in her will. Johanna recalls, “If it wasn't for the affordable tuition back in 1962, I would never have been able to attend college and consequently become a teacher. Thank you, Mercy!”
